Food was really delicious - fresh, well prepared, well seasoned. We’ve had oysters, grilled octopus, steamed mussels and grilled fish. All were really amazing.

Their spaghetti BLUE FISH is a must try! The chef must be so proud of this dish! The spaghetti is cooked to a real al dente finish, the fish with the olive oil and pine seed were stir fried perfectly. And, surprisingly, the raisin popped in the taste to bring out all the flavors. It was served with bread crumbs!! It added such a magical texture! The whole combination is one of the kind. It’s our 3rd day in Ortigia, we are definitely coming back in this 6 day trip. Their raw fish platter for 2 is soooo fresh and delish! They serve everything you expected in Sicily / Ortigia, but just BETTER!!

Yummy seafood dishes with a nice texture and umami flavors. The pasta was well cooked and chewy. It could be a bit salty or spicy for some people but it was tasty for me; it had a lot of umami taste, which reminded me of Korean noodles (너구리). The steamed octopus in a tomato-based sauce was very soft and also had umami flavors, which made me want to mix the sauce with steamed rice, similar to one of the Korean dishes, marinated squid (오징어덮밥). The price was reasonable.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a nice local man on the beach so we went for lunch. The food was excellent even if they are a bit heavy handed on the oil in the pasta/gnocchi dishes. The gamberi antipasti was especially good and very fresh. Great authentic spot!

Absolutely incredible seafood. Best Tuna I’ve eaten, incredible swordfish, amazing prawns and brilliant, tender squid. 100% recommend - book if you want a secured spot!

Sicily #12, Ortigia #1, Italian #5, Seafood #2 (guest post by my partner): our Airbnb host recommended this as a solid seafood place. We ordered the anchovy appetizer to share, and I ordered the uni pasta. The uni pasta was really good, but the anchovy app may have even been better. The waiter/owner who served us was super nice, and we really enjoyed the vibe outside. If we sat/ate inside, I'm not sure if we would have appreciate the ambiance as much. Highly recommend!
